Christoph von Toggenburg is an award-winning humanitarian, artist, writer, known for his leadership in human rights and social impact. As Group Head of Human Rights and Social Impact at Holcim, he shapes the company’s global strategy across 60 countries, embedding sustainability, human rights and community empowerment into its long-term value creation.
With over two decades of experience in the field, Christoph has led humanitarian operations with the ICRC and the UN in conflict zones around the globe and served as CEO of World Vision Switzerland & Liechtenstein. He is a Global Leadership Fellow of the World Economic Forum, founded the Colour the World Foundation and spearheaded global awareness expeditions such as Bike for Help and Alegria.
His documentary Alegria has earned over 50 international prizes, and his photography and art have been exhibited globally, including the Royal Academy of Arts in London. A TEDx speaker and author, Christoph’s upcoming book War, Love, Hope shares powerful insights from a life at the frontlines of crisis and resilience.
