MOJCA MARKIZETI

She is a sustainability leader, climate and ESG expert, award-winning innovator, policy advisor, mentor and speaker. With more than 20 years of experience in developing sustainability strategies, leading change and innovation in different companies, she simultaneously worked as an activist who brought sustainability into the political environment. She worked for several non-governmental organizations, including the UNGC. Her belief in the synergy of people’s creativity and the capabilities of technology has resulted in several innovation awards for sustainable business practices. Markizeti is the winner of the Golden Innovation Award of Slovenia 2018, the winner of the Climate KIC-Climathon competition 2020, the winner of the European Award for Promoting Entrepreneurship in 2021 for supporting a sustainable transition, and the winner of the Slovenian Chamber of Commerce’s award for the best innovation in 2022.
