MEMBER OF THE BOARD OF IAB CROATIA AND FOUNDER OF HUMANA
Terry is currently active in the European Parliament, where she is a vocal advocate for addressing key challenges related to climate change, ecology, energy crisis, and green transition. But she is also an activist fighting for all those issues that are on the banners at hundreds of protests across Europe regarding human rights, minority rights, gender equality, and climate justice. Everything she fights for is closely linked to her identity. She is a feminist who can rightfully say that she brought the #MeToo movement to the heart of Europe, to the main political institution, when she spoke at a plenary session of the European Parliament and revealed that she herself had been a victim of sexual violence. She publicly condemned harassment in the corridors at her workplace and encouraged her colleagues, as well as women around the world, to speak out against violence. As a result, the prestigious magazine TIME, along with other women who participated in the movement, named her Person of the Year! Terry is currently co-president of the Green/European Free Alliance Club in the European Parliament, where she actively advocates for a better future through concrete proposals. In this regard, her greatest focus is on sustainable development, which is the foundation for creating a long-term and just future for all European citizens. In her opinion, the EU Solidarity Fund and EU standards in the social sector are an essential part of the European response to the energy and climate crisis.
