EU PARLIAMENT COMMISIONER, HIGH REPRESENTATIVE AND FORMER VICE-PRESIDENT OF SLOVENIA

The founder of Ecocivilisation, former Deputy Prime Minister of the Government of Slovenia, and Minister for Development, Strategic Projects, and Cohesion. She is a member of the Board of Directors and Vice President of the Europe Asia Centre, Chair of the Board of Directors at Marina Portorož, and a member of the Board of Directors of the Joint European Disruptive Initiative (JEDI). She serves as the Global President of G100 at the Women World Economic Forum (WWEF) and is the founder of Ecocivilisation, an initiative focused on universal knowledge as a public good in line with a new civilizational paradigm. Her political career includes serving as the European Union Commissioner for Transport from 2014 to 2019. Before that, she held key positions in the Government of the Republic of Slovenia, including the role of Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Development, Strategic Projects, and Cohesion in 2014. She is the founder of Vibacom, where she also served as the CEO with a focus on sustainable growth and innovation.
