Zvonimir Kalić from Đakovo is one of the most renowned producers of industrial hemp products in Croatia. As the best young producer, he represented Croatia at the 5th selection for the best young farmer in the European Union and achieved an excellent third place in Europe among young farmers. It all began when the Kalić family, in response to an illness affecting one of their members, initiated the planned cultivation of hemp and the production of hemp seeds. Zvonimir further educated himself and created Croaticanna hemp oil, which is obtained through cold pressing of hemp seeds. The seeds grow under strictly controlled ecological conditions. The quality of Croaticanna oil is confirmed by three certificates and guarantee stamps: “Healthy Living” indicating low salt and saturated fatty acids content, as well as BIO and VEGAN labels. Croaticanna products are mainly produced manually. Zvonimir’s mission is to ensure a shorter journey “from field to table,” guaranteeing a quality product for people that is environmentally friendly.
