Mario Mandarić

RESTAURANT NOEL, CO-OWNER AND CHEF

Mario Mandarić is a well-known face in the world of gastronomy, and recently he is the new head chef of the famous Zagreb restaurant NOEL, the only restaurant in Zagreb with a Michelin star. He is known as one of the best young chefs with an impressive biography because he is only 32 years old and has already worked in some of the world’s best restaurants. He had his restaurant in Thailand and worked in the English restaurant The Fat Duck, with as many as three Michelin stars. Mario is also known for his humanitarian work and was included in the Forbes list of the thirty most influential people in Europe under 30. In addition, he is fiercely against food waste, and it all started with a donor dinner that Mandarić prepared from food that was supposed to end up in the trash. This versatile chef, humanitarian and lover of the zero-waste philosophy in gastronomy, is currently learning to be a pilot and runs a catering consulting company.
